Que paso?
Hola mis amigos! I’ll keep it short. I’ve had a great week. It’s crazy to think in a little more then a week I’ll be in the field teaching the people of Puebla México.
This past week my Spanish has continued to grow as I practice. My companion and I are killing it in our lessons and it’s so awesome. Life is hard but it’s rollin. My companion and I were called as Zone leaders. This takes away some study time but it’s cool to help the new districts coming in as our zone leaders did when we were new. It requires us to be a lot more social which should be good for the field. The weeks are flying by and I’m excited to get to Puebla
Some fun experiences I’ve had this week.
1. Elder Obray in my district had his birthday so we got to sing Happy Happy Birthday in Spanish
2. Got to play b-ball today with Elder Kimball, just like back home at BYU
3. Got to play soccer for 3 hours with my Latino friends
4. I sang my first English hymn since I left and it felt so awkward.
5. Got to hear from Elder Bednar
I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to hear from our apostle, Elder Bednar this past week. He spoke about how there are no coincidences in life. Our Father in Heaven, our Savior, and the Holy Ghost are all guiding our lives. We always have the opportunity to be a representative of Christ and make someone’s day better or to share the gospel. Elder Bednar reminded us that God is on our right hand, our left hand and before us.

37 And after that they did separate themselves one from another, taking no thought for themselves what they should eat, or what they should drink, or what they should put on.
38 And the Lord provided for them that they should hunger not, neither should they thirst; yea, and he also gave them strength, that they should suffer no manner of afflictions, save it were swallowed up in the joy of Christ. Now this was according to the prayer of Alma; and this because he prayed in faith.
I know you all can do anything as long as you pray to our Father in faith. He will strengthen always. Become selfless and serve the lord and your neighbors and he will bless you.
Love,
Elder Sandberg
