Mexico City Temple

Hey guys so not a long email this time I have to go study in 16 minutes. So this week an been amazing a few experiences.
1. Got absolutely drenched one of these nights and it was great. Reminded me of Elder Rees. It’s rainy season here so it rains literally every night and it’s about 85 degrees during the day. It’s great.
2. For breakfast one of the days we had pancakes. One of the kids in my district drenched his in “buttermilk syrup”. Turns out it was gravy.
3. CCM water tower was hit by lightning and it felt like the CCM was getting shelled. Fun...
4. Got to go to the temple and go through a session in Spanish which I mostly understood. Improvement right?
5. Our water busted so I didn’t get to shower after a muddy soccer game.

From my reading this week I was reading in Ether 12:4. It’s says
5 Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God.
6 And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith.
I have had my faith strengthened as I have struggled here at the MTC. I have struggled with language, companions, lessons, and sleep but I have never had my testimony grow so much. I have gotten through my trials by reading the Book of Mormon and praying to God. I encourage each of you to no matter your beliefs read the Book of Mormon. It’s has been an amazing source of blessings, learning, and faith in my life and I know it can do the same for you. I testify that it is the word of God. Email me any questions or concerns you have.
